KitchenAid Blender Broken Jar Blade Removal

If your jar is chipped or broken and you need to remove your blade unit then follow these steps. If you jar is not chipped or broken then please see the help page titled Blender Blade Removal

Tools needed-Old Towel,Hammer,Goggles and safety gloves

Step 1-Put on your safety goggles and gloves and wrap your jar firmly in the towel.

Step 2- Smash the jar with the hammer this may take a few attempts as the blade will need to be freed from the jar, make sure no shards of glass escape.

Step 3- Once the jar is smashed, carefully unwrap the towel and pick up your blade with your safety gloves on

Step 4 - Place the towel and broken glass into a box and seal the box so the broken glass is placed safety into the bin
